Our Mission is to spread the Democratic message to high school students across Indiana and engage them in the political process. Additionally, equip these high school Democrats with the tools they need to impact local, state, and national elections.
Chicago Unheard tells the untold stories of struggle and success in Chicago Public Schools. We are a space for parents, students, teachers and everyone with a stake in improving public schools to share their experiences and weigh in on policy, politics and practice in Chicago’s public schools. We have a particular interest in the stories of Chicago’s neighborhood schools and how they are working to improve outcomes for all kids.
Poll Town is a public opinion marketplace where you can discover what people are thinking. Our mission is to invigorate democracy by giving citizens a voice on important issues. By making it simple and fast for people to participate, we open up a whole new level of collaboration and civic action. The first version of our platform was launched in 2013 as Townhall Social, a Facebook app with a single-question survey that could be easily shared across social media. Our focus has always been to solve the problem of low participation in government outreach. Over the following years we helped over 80 government and community organizations in North America, Africa, Asia, and Australasia reach and engage people in decisions that impact them.
RESULTS is a movement of passionate, committed everyday people. Together they use their voices to influence political decisions that will bring an end to poverty. Volunteers receive training, support, and inspiration to become skilled advocates. In time, volunteers learn to effectively advise policy makers, guiding them towards decisions that improve access to education, health, and economic opportunity.
The Black Star Project is a nonprofit action-based organization that works to improve quality life indicators in less-advantaged Black communities nationwide. The Black Star Project accomplishes its mission by educating, organizing and mobilizing parents, students, community partners and others on a host of issues and campaigns and by generating ongoing initiatives that will improve life quality indicators of Black people with special emphasis on eliminating the racial academic achievement gap.

The Institute for a Democratic Future is a six-month program dedicated to recruiting, training and promoting the next generation of Democratic civic leaders. IDF was established to develop and promote emerging generations of Democratic and civic leaders in Washington State. The program was established in response to a lack of organizations or training at the time that offered a comprehensive learning experience for young adults.

Led by parents, the NYC Coalition for Educational Justice is organizing a movement to end the inequities in the city’s public school system. We are a collaborative of community-based organizations and unions whose members include culturally diverse parents, community members, students and educators. We are motivated by the urgent need to obtain a quality and well-rounded education for all students. We will mobilize the power of parents and the community to affect policy change and create a more equitable educational system.
The National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO) is the 501(c)(3), tax-exempt, not-for-profit umbrella organization of the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Founded in 1969, NAFEO is the only membership association of its kind, representing the presidents and chancellors of the diverse black colleges and universities: public, private and land-grant, two-year, four-year, graduate and professional, historically and predominantly black colleges and universities.
The Center for Anti-Violence Education (CAE) develops and implements comprehensive violence prevention programs for individuals and organizations. Through a combination of education, physical empowerment, and leadership development, CAE provides underserved communities throughout the New York metropolitan area with skills to break cycles of violence.
