WMWIN Website: https://wmwindiana.org WMWIN Twitter and Instagram: @WMWIndiana WMWIN Public FB Page: https://www.facebook.com/WMWIndiana/ This group is comprised of hoosiers brought together by the rhetoric of the 2016 election cycle, which insulted, demonized and threatened many of us. Though we began to form the Women's March for January 21st, 2017, we are now a movement. We welcome all with a connection to Indiana that share our goals: Women, immigrants, LGBTQIA people, Native & Indigenous people, Black & Brown people, people w/ disabilities, the economically impoverished, and survivors of sexual assault. Together, we are strong. This group is designed to be a respectful haven, where members can share information and events relevant to our progressive goals. It is also a space to share thoughts, feelings, opinions, questions, ideas, and experiences. We welcome dissent, debate, and critical thinking. However, abusive and/or threatening language and hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the group without warning or explanation. If you encounter a post you feel is in violation of these rules, please go to the top of the post in question, click the series of dots in the upper right corner, and select 'Report to Admin.' If you believe a comment violates these rules, using your mobile app, please press and hold on the comment until a menu appears and select 'Report to Group Admins.' In an effort to reduce duplicate content, please check recent posts to see if a particular news story, article, image, video, etc. has already been posted prior to sharing. Duplicate content, especially posts that do not contain additional information or personal thoughts, may not be approved. Given the pervasiveness of false articles, websites, and social media profiles, it is unfortunately very easy to unknowingly share inaccurate information. Please take the time to vet your sources carefully. Known misinformation will not be approved. In the event that fake content is inadvertently approved, we will notify those who posted it so they have the opportunity to remove it. Otherwise, it will be subject to removal by moderators (satirical sites are permitted, but moderators reserve the right to note them as such in the comment section if necessary). Self-promotion of commercial and business interests is considered off topic and will not be approved. However, members are free to share their own written content (such as blog posts) as well as fundraising efforts, provided they are relevant to the mission of the group and its members.
