Welcome to the Indivisible movement for Ohio's 7th Congressional District. We are mainly people from the Wellington area, but others are definitely welcome! Meetings: The 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month at 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church, 127 Park Pl., Wellington, Ohio. (we often schedule additional meetings for specific topics). Groups throughout the nation are combining our efforts. We are also teamed with other groups in our district that may be closer to you. 1. Ohio 7 Together (Ashland) 2. Ohio Districts 7 & 16 Indivisible Team (Canton) 3. Gibbs watch (Mount Vernon) 4. Medina County Together Nearby Districts (4): 1. Lorain County Rising (Oberlin) 2. Firelands Indivisible After the recent regressive trend away from civil rights, economic equality, and protecting the environment, our nationwide movement has been gaining popularity to actively defend these issues. The summarize the agenda of our group, we are expressing these issues to our three local members of congress: Rob Portman, Sherrod Brown, and Bob Gibbs, through calls, letters, town halls, rallies, protests, etc. Other action related items include preparing for the 2018 election and making our elections more democratic. 1. Our guiding principles are to remain peaceful, empathetic, and respectful towards all members of our society amidst division. 2. This is a take action group.
