What is Indivisible (Liberty Tree) of Texas? (Technically, we have four groups in the Northern Texas area, covering Texas congressional districts 32, 26, 3 and 4.) The Liberty Tree was created by a group of women in Northern Texas who had decided that we could no longer be silent, polite or patient in the face of injustice. We are not going to compromise anymore. We are going to use our voices. We are going to get involved (in-person) as frequently as possible. We are going to educate ourselves about the political process and we are going to actively participate in that process. 'The world is a dangerous place to live not because of the people who do evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.' A. Einstein. Neutrality is a political decision. Not acting is as political as acting. We woke up and decided to act. Later, in late December, we read the Indivisible Guide and we registered our local groups with Indivisible.
