We are a group of citizens who believe in the Constitution and our democratic ideals. We reject discrimination, embrace diversity, and say that women's rights are human rights. We reject the Republican Party's platform and the current national administration's policies as mean-spirited, misguided, narrow minded, and just plain wrong. We are a support group, yes, but also an action group. Sharing information on this site is encouraged. We have been meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursdays (except the third Thursday) at the Cannon Falls Hospital cafeteria. Our daytime meetings are at 1:00 on Tuesdays at the Cannon Falls Bakery. We are committed to doing whatever we are able to progress toward equality and justice; and elect progressive representatives at the local, state, and national levels in the upcoming elections. Members are encouraged to invite others of like mind to join this group and get involved in making a positive difference.
