The climate crisis is not about the environment or politics...it's about OUR FUTURE. iMatter Youth is a national movement that inspires youth to join the fight against rapid climate change through grassroots level activism. Groups of youth can 1. Grade their cities using the iMatter Report Card 2. Present the Report Card to their city government 3. Advocate for the adoption of a Climate Action Plan 4. Pressure leaders to follow through on their promises 5. Continue the movement by sharing their stories with other youth groups from across the country through our weekly video calls. Since we will inherit this world, iMatter was created to reach across regional, ideological, and ethnic borders, to empower youth to organize, and be heard on the issue of global climate change. We are not only the generation who will suffer most from its consequences, we are also the generation who will lead in bringing about the change needed to create a sustainable and just society...a society that values nature and future generations more than money and power. iMatter Youth is a national organization run by youth, for youth.
