coloradostands.org Colorado Stands is an organization that partners with members of the community to promote education on, and support for, services that benefit diverse groups of Coloradans. Colorado Stands will partner with non-profits and community groups to host events and activities with the purpose of broadening support for the services these organizations provide to all of the wonderfully diverse communities in Colorado. We began by rallying in support of Planned Parenthood, which provides compassionate, evidence-based healthcare nationwide but specifically serves as a vital resource for thousands of Coloradans, including those without health insurance, residents of rural areas and members of the LGBTQ community. At our rally, we raised thousands of dollars for Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains and collected thousands of letters in support of Planned Parenthood for Senator Cory Gardner, whose policy leanings place the very existence of Planned Parenthood and reproductive freedom in jeopardy. We seek to follow-up this successful endeavor with a variety of events, each tailored to suit the needs and celebrate the values of the organizations we support!
