Meet Leslie:
Leslie has resided in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC since 2004. She graduated from Radford University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Operations Management and has been employed with the Federal government for 26 years. A leader within Greater Charlotte RISE Together, NC which is individuals of different talents and backgrounds, who use leadership skills and development to offer community outreach and support through advocacy, hand in hand with action.
Leslie has a passion for volunteering in my community.She has held leadership positions on various Board of Directors. The Union County Woman’s Club, Turning Point (only Domestic Violence shelter in Union County), and The Red Boot Way.
In 2014, Leslie was elected to the Union County Board of Education. As an elected official, she has insight into how her State and local government works regarding policies that affect the citizens. In addition, she is a Precinct Chair for the Union County Democratic Party.
