Welcome to Women’s Alliance L.A. We Are: A diverse group of women of all ages, colors, religions and socioeconomic backgrounds Our Vision: Women rising up and standing together, protecting the inalienable rights of all Americans and our Democratic Society. Our MISSION: To Unite, Protect, Defend, and Advance the rights for all Americans with an emphasis on women’s rights, healthcare, the environment, and marginalized communities. Inspired by the Indivisible Guide (https://www.indivisibleguide.com/) we are organizing around the political issues that concern us to take action. We'll organize calls & visits to our Senators & local Congressional offices to voice our concerns. We'll coordinate call storms, attend Town Hall events and other public meetings, and arrange meetings with staffers. We'll form coalitions with other organizations and use resources such as the Wall of Us www.wall-of-us.org/ and MoveOn.org front.moveon.org/. You can find your representative at www.house.gov/representatives/find. This is a forum to facilitate working together to reach goals, share resources & tools, debate ideas & communicate with each other. We value each one of you. Friends of WALA: Men are welcome to join the struggle to protect our democratic society & the earth's environment. They're welcome on our Facebook page as long as they are 'friends' of someone in the group & to join the political actions & social justice advocacy efforts of this women-run group. While the group's goal is for a diversity of women, men are welcome to attend meetings. By joining this group, you agree to the :Group Guidelines: 1.
