January 16 - Monday: MLK Day Celebration 12:30pm Grand Junction City Hall Join us for a march to Handy Chapel, where our speakers will address participants. The evening event will begin at 5:30 in the CMU Ballroom with a social and jazz band January 18 - Wednesday: Reading in support of MLK Day & the Women's March Lithic Bookstore & Gallery in Fruita 138 S. Park Sq. 5:30-6:30 January 19 - Thursday: Women's Roundtable for Reproductive Rights 5:30-8:00pm Unitarian Universalist Church 530 Ouray Ave. Grand Junction Join us for a discussion with a panel of speakers and personal accounts of access to reproductive healthcare from teens to menopause January 20 - Friday: Candlelight Prayer Vigil 5:00pm Federal Building 402 Rood January 21 - Saturday: Women's March for Grand Junction 12:30pm Old R-5 High School on 7th and Grand Join us for a march with a celebration and speakers to follow All are welcome to join us and stand together in solidarity with women and girls for the protection of their rights, safety and health. January 21- Saturday: Toasting to Diversity after party 3:00pm Charlie Dwellington's Join us after the women's march to celebrate unity through diversity with a social, poetry, and performances January 27th - Friday Film Showing: East of Salinas 7:00pm Grand Junction City Hall Join us for a film viewing followed by a discussion on immigration, childhood and circumstance. January 28th - Saturday Discovering our Immigrant Stories 2:30-4:00pm Mesa County Central Library Community Room Listen to a panel from the community and share experiences of coming to places called home.
