Our group, founded in 2013, has organized tirelessly to promote progressive values and the implementation of common-sense policy that works for all over the 1%. The WGP is comprised of environmentalists, advocates for social justice, and regular citizens that seek an alternative to the two-party system. The Waterford, CT Green Party is an organization based on the concepts of grassroots democracy, social justice and equal opportunity, ecological wisdom, non-violence, decentralization, community-based economics and economic justice, feminism and gender equity, respect for diversity, personal and global responsibility, and future focus and sustainability.
