Welcome to Union County Progressives! We are people united in opposition to threats against American democracy. We believe the 2016 elections were sold to the highest bidder -- Corporate America. We are reclaiming our government and stand for safety net programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, school meals and providing health care for all people. We uphold all human, civil and political rights, oppose privatizing our Social Security and support the right to organize and earn a living wage. We stand behind the freedoms guaranteed by our Bill of Rights and Constitution. As progressives we believe everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does his or her fair share, and everyone plays by the same rules. We RESIST all efforts by the current and future administrations to reduce, abolish or in any way threaten our well-being and that of our neighbors at home or abroad.
