The Torrance Democratic Club unites Democrats in the city of Torrance to elect candidates and promote causes important to our core democratic values. At the crossroads of the South Bay and in the largest city in the new 66th Assembly District in the State Legislature in California, the Torrance Democratic Club unites the Democratic base in the City of Torrance to elect Democratic candidates and promote causes important to our core democratic values. Through outreach, education, and action, we provide the members of our Club an opportunity to be engaged and active participants in the Democratic process. Our club is an effective vehicle for democratic change in our community, state, and the nation. Your membership dues and donations allow the Club to support candidates and ballot measures; club meetings; special events; communications and community outreach. The Torrance Democratic Club focuses its efforts within the City of Torrance; and seeks to publicize activities, and to build its membership from registered Democrats within the city. The mission of the Club is: to educate Club members, and the general public, as to issues and candidates that may be of interest to Torrance Democrats; to act to further the adoption of the Club position on issues of importance to the community, the state, or the nation in all affiliated bodies; to endorse/elect registered Democrats in partisan and non-partisan elections, whose views most closely correspond with those of the Club; to promote accountability to the community on the part of elected officials.
