This group was created to find like minded people who are not happy with the election results of 2016. This is not because we think, in general, that the new POTUS is heading this country in the wrong direction (to say the least)...more like fear he will cause a nuclear holocaust! While this group IS for supporting other progressives, democrats and independents, the primary focus for this group is to work together to let our congressional representatives know that we are not happy. This should be done peacefully, but diligently. Making visits to your representative as a group of two to five is better than just one person. Change is possible. We can make a difference in the direction this country is headed. #TheResistance movement, as well as this group, will be working with the #Indivisible document, which goes by the old Tea Party playbook of obstruction. Remember 2010? Well, we are going to go back to that time, only instead of the Republicans creating protests and alliances, it will be the Democrats! While this group was started for Cambria and Somerset Counties in Pennsylvania, anyone needing a place to discuss how they feel after this past election is welcome here. Unless you plan to be a troll, then you will be permanently banned and reported to Facebook.
