This Facebook group is a local offshoot of a nationwide group called Indivisible. The goal is 'to help leaders on the ground resist the Trump agenda' according to the website. It serves as a forum for folks who are concerned about the direction the country is heading under the current administration, and want to keep each other informed about ways large and small that we can help each other get through this. Many people are posting suggestions for ways to interact with local politicians to make sure our views are being heard. It helps folks who may not know how to resist become more responsible citizens by interacting with the political system in a meaningful way. We joined because we don't want to sit back and stew without having done everything in our power to enact positive change. We see it as a place to learn.
