The Tampa Chapter of the National Organization for Women covers Hillsborough County, located in West Central Florida. The chapter meets at 6:15 pm on the first Thursday of each month at Beef O’Brady’s located at 9311 N 56th St in Temple Terrace. The issues our chapter focuses on include reproductive rights, economic justice, passage of the ERA, diversity, LGBTQIA rights, ending violence against women and promoting laws and candidates who support women’s issues. As a strategy, the Tampa NOW chapter participates and works with a number of progressive groups in the community who share the same values and work on similar issues believing there is strength in numbers and groups can inform one another. Equal Rights are Human Rights. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month @ the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa at 11400 Morris Bridge Road. We start @ 7:00 pm.
