This is the page for the statewide group Stonewall for Revolution: Michigan. This is a grassroots political organization dedicated to advancing LGBTQ civil rights and the political power in Michigan. Founded in the early Spring of 2017, this emerging grassroots LGBTQ civil rights organization is founded on the principles of bottom up leadership, a commitment to representing the voices of all LGBTQ people to those in positions of power, to influencing the Democratic Party to be more active in the pursuit and defense of LGBTQ civil rights and justice for our community, and working for the election of LGBTQ candidates to political office who have a direct interest in working to advance the aforementioned interests. To advance the cause of LGBTQ civil rights and justice in the state of Michigan; to ensure equal access to housing, education, employment, health care, and public accommodations to LGBTQ folks living in Michigan; to advance the safety and security of LGBTQ folks living in the state of Michigan; and to advance these goals through the principles and leadership of grassroots activism.
