Alan Snitow and Deborah Kaufman’s documentary films include 2016's "Company Town" about "the sharing economy" and tech's political power in San Francisco. It's the final film in their trilogy about globaliization and privatization, including 2004's "Thirst" and 2001's "Secrets of Silicon Valley." They also directed "Between Two Worlds" (2011) and "Blacks and Jews" (1997). Earlier, Kaufman founded the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, the world's first and largest. Snitow was a television news producer and News Director at Pacifica station KPFA in the late 1970's.
