If you get declined for membership and feel it is wrongfully done, please send us a message. **** Our Mission Statement Savannah Taking Action for Resistance (STAR, formerly known as Savannah’s Pantsuit Nation) is a grassroots organization working to effect positive change on a local and state level. We started as a small group of friends frustrated with the 2016 election and quickly grew into 1,500+ members who represent the diversity of Savannah. As such, we are an evolving group that takes a multi-stance initiative on matters of social justice, including task forces focused on rapid response, legislative matters, and community service and acts of kindness. While non-partisan, we believe that the normalization of the alt-right and neo-facism threatens not only our way of life and that of our loved ones, but moreover American democracy as a whole. We believe in the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.
