The Rochester People's Climate Coalition addresses the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for the impacts of global warming. 30+ organizations from the Rochester region joined together last September, in the weeks leading up to the People's Climate March, to form the Rochester People's Climate Coalition (RPCC) and demand action on climate change. At the time, it was not clear what would become of the RPCC after the march. Following several months of behind-the-scenes work, we're pleased to announce that the RPCC now has a clearly defined mission and corresponding goals, an organizational structure and leadership team, and an ambitious new project underway that provides opportunities for all Coalition members to get involved. We are now up to 60 organizations! To learn more about what the RPCC is, what we're working on, and how you can take part, please write to us at rocpcc@gmail.com. Sincerely yours, The RPCC Leadership Team *Susan Spencer* *Linda Issacson-Fedele* *George Payne * *Sue Hughes-Smith* *Sarah Mittiga* *Abigail McHugh-Grifa* The Rochester People’s Climate Coalition addresses the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for the impacts of global warming.
