We stand with Standing Rock. We are allies, all of us. It is our desire to expand awareness and create space for a call to action. Created out of passion for Standing Rock, Protectors of Water & Land became a connector between Mid-Missouri and Water Protectors in the fall of 2017. Many trips to Standing Rock with truckloads of supplies up until Jan 1, solidified our goal to stop corporate greed from devouring the beauty of our land. Our focus now is on educating the public about pipelines, mining, fracking and other greedy corporate energy endeavors that take away from Native Peoples and all Americans and desecrate our water & land. Join us on the 4th Thursdays of the month at Heart, Body & Soul from 6:30-7:30 to find out how you can get involved. November's meeting will be held on the 3rd Thursday, November 16 .
