Protect Minnesota promotes the health and safety of all Minnesotans by preventing gun violence through effective laws, policies and community education. This facebook page will only allow comments from those who are supportive of our mission. Protect Minnesota is the only independent, state-based non-profit organization in Minnesota. We represent Minnesotans who want to change the discussion about gun violence to focus on how gun ownership can be made safer for the whole community. We agree with the Supreme Court 'Heller' decision, in which Justice Antonin Scalia wrote for the majority: 'Like all rights, the right secured by the Second Amendment is not unlimited. It is not not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose.”
