Building the climate movement in MN! Join Us. MN350.org MN350 is a coalition of local folks working to combat climate change by building the grassroots capacity of the climate movement. In Minnesota the energy and innovation for climate change solutions is palpable. We shine a spotlight on the work of existing organizations by highlighting their incredible work. We knit many efforts together in a powerful and unified call to action—a call that is global, scientific, and specific. We stitch together a whole that is truly greater than the sum of its parts. MN350 is one of thousands of grassroots groups across the globe who are getting to work rebuilding communities, revitalizing economies, and tackling global warming and the energy crisis head-on. As the planet's climate head deeper into the danger zone, our economy falters, and our political system remains deadlocked, people from all around the world are uniting for solutions. What is 350? 350 parts per million (ppm) of carbon is what leading scientists, climate experts and many governments say is the safe upper limit of what should be in our atmosphere. Until about 200 years ago this number throughout history was about 275ppm. Since then it has risen to our current number of 392ppm.
