Mississippi in Action was founded in 2009, after noticing a lack of holistic advocacy and education pertaining to HIV/AIDS, birth control, comprehensive sex education, and homelessness. Using the Maslow's heirarchy of need Mississippi in Action works diligently to ensure that every aspect of a person's well being is met. To promote holistic sexual and reproductive health by incorporating advocacy, education and housing; thereby enhancing the rights and dignity of all Mississippians.
