We started as a sister march to the Women's March in DC, but there's more marching to be done! We are building our community and would love for you to join it. Please message us if you have any questions or want to get involved! Many of us awoke on November 9, 2016 feeling a lot of different ways. We awoke with the realization that as Americans, we had been complacent. We saw that we had been bystanders in our government. There was less than a 50% voter turnout in the 2016 General Election. So many people either chose not to go out and use their voice, or were denied casting their votes in the first place. We decided to use our voices to empower ALL Americans to speak up and hold our government accountable. We created March On Maryland to allow everyone to be heard: veterans, minorities, the impoverished, the disenfranchised, and the persecuted. We started with the Annapolis Women’s March in 2017. We held the Annapolis March for Science, March for Racial Justice, and Rally for Health Care. We also coordinated the Vigil for Las Vegas and the Vigil for the Capital with the City of Annapolis. But there is so much more work to be done. We will keep marching until every American is involved in and empowered. Join us for the 3rd Annual Women’s March this January in Annapolis, Maryland.
