March For Our Lives is a movement dedicated to student-led activism around ending gun violence and the epidemic of mass shootings in our schools today. March For Our Lives is a movement dedicated to student-led activism around ending gun violence and the epidemic of mass shootings in our schools today. You can support the March for Our Lives movement and student-led activism by supporting the March For Our Lives Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by donating on Facebook via the “Donate” button on our page. The March For Our Lives Action Fund is a 501(c)(4) organization. Donations to the March For Our Lives Action Fund will be used to fight for comprehensive gun safety legislation at the local, state, and federal level, and will also include voter education, ballot initiatives, and lobbying state legislatures and Congress to protect America’s kids. Unlike section 501(c)(3) charitable organizations which have restrictions on their lobbying activities, section 501(c)(4) organizations are permitted to conduct unlimited lobbying for federal tax purposes. This form of entity gives the students maximum flexibility to conduct high-impact legislative advocacy. The trade-off is that contributions are not tax-deductible.
