Our mission is to identify and recruit Progressive Democrats, to promote Labor and Progressive issues, build the progressive base through community outreach, and to Transform the Democratic by electing progressive Democratic candidates. The Lower Shore Progressive Caucus is a unaffiliated political and activist organization that covers Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties. The Lower Shore Progressive Caucus is unaffiliated with any political party and is committed to empowering working people. We do that by building a Progressive Movement both locally and on a larger scale to elect progressive representatives, enact progressive legislation, and create a government that represents the many not just the powerful few by working to solve the economic, social, racial, and environmental injustices we face.
