Our mission is to lead local Jews to act on our shared Jewish values by pursuing justice and equality in our local community. Jews United for Justice (JUFJ) is a grassroots community that seeks to repair the world by concentrating on issues of local concern in the Greater Washington and Baltimore area. JUFJ's Baltimore branch campaigns for justice and builds community in partnership with many local organizations, under the direction of Molly Amster. JUFJ provides Jews with an opportunity to weave together Judaism and activism and creates a community in which to explore and strengthen commitments to both. This page focuses on (but is not exclusively about) Baltimore issues and events.
