Indivisible Wilkes was organized to encourage citizens of Wilkes County and surrounding areas to be informed, involved and active in the political process and to resist the divisive, racist, misogynist, and homophobic agenda of the Trump administration. Indivisible Wilkes is a non-partisan community action group, based in Wilkes County, North Carolina. Members advocate for democracy, human rights, equality and justice, and encourage informed citizen involvement and participation in the political process and public affairs. We demand truth, transparency and accountability from our elected officials on issues that impact all citizens. We stand in resistance to the racism, misogyny, inequality, injustice, corruption and divisiveness demonstrated in the actions and statements of the current administration.
