West Michigan chapter of the Indivisible movement, resisting regressive agendas in MI congressional districts 2, 3, and 6. #IWMI Our American democracy is under siege at all levels of government. We will not go gentle into that goodnight! We must take action to protect the future of West Michigan, our beautiful state of Michigan, and the republic of the United States of America. We as American citizens are empowered to hold our officials, representatives, and institutions accountable for their choices, actions, and votes. We are a non-partisan group - if you share our progressive ideology, then please join us. We are welcoming members from Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon, Grand Haven, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, South Haven, St. Joseph, and all suburbs, towns and villages in between. These are dire times, and we need a strategy to fight for American values. Kurt Vonnegut once described a conversation that he had with a holocaust survivor. He said, 'She was asked what she had learned from the Holocaust, and she said that 10 percent of any population is cruel, no matter what, and that 10 percent is merciful, no matter what, and that the remaining 80 percent could be moved in either direction.'
