We commit to : Resist Trump's agenda. We believe Trump’s agenda is racist, authoritarian, and corrupt, and it must be stopped. Focus on local, defensive congressional advocacy. We demand that our own local Members of Congress Embrace progressive values We are a group of concerned citizens who self-organize around events and projects that strengthen our bonds and community with one another while standing up peacefully and non-violently to the destructive, corrupt, and undemocratic ways of this administration and its supporters in Congress. Indivisible Mohawk Valley members were inspired to go from voters to activists after the November election, the Women's March, and subsequent events locally and nationally. We have subcommittees on various topics so interested members can blend education and activism. IMV participates in Knit the District, a coalition of grassroots resistance groups in NY 22 focusing on unseating Claudia Teneny in 2018, and has close relationships with other groups across the state.
