This is an action group for the residents of Congressional District 6. Everyone is welcome to join and to take part in the National and Statewide action items, but the information provided on this page will be specific to Colorado Congressional District 6. Those outside those areas will have to seek out their own contact and specific action information. We are always willing to help you find your local Congressional District group. The purposes of this group will be to 1) expand our membership so that we strengthen our voice 2) to make our voice and opinions known to our elected representatives in the U.S. Congress 3) to share our ideas with each other about how to take effective action 4) to work in cooperation with IndivisibleGuide Organizers and leaders on the state and national levels. This is a non-partisan group which is concerned about any actions and policies the Trump administration and a congress influenced by Tea Party/Alt-Right legislators and activists may make which will threaten our civil liberties, Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms, our environment, our global relationships, and at-risk groups of Americans. Donald Trump embraced and expressed ideas throughout his campaign and transition that are misogynistic, xenophobic, racially and religiously bigotted, homophobic/transphobic, ableist, and science-denying. We will work together to fight the implementation of laws and policies threatening us in any of those areas. Group Rules: Members agree to read and agree to the above stated group description and purpose. Members understand that ideas and debate are encouraged, but personal attacks are not tolerated. First offense will result in a warning; a second offense will result in being removed and banned. Outright trolls wont be tolerated and will be expelled and banned as soon as detected. Members should report such incidents to the Administrators immediately and not respond themselves to any troll bait.
