Our Mission for the next 4 years is that we will provide research and accessible information on how to peacefully protest and affect change to the current administrations policies in our community. We are dedicated to being inclusive, defending public education, science, affordable healthcare, free speech, and human rights at the local and federal level. We will provide this information by vigilantly following legislative actions, executive orders, and treatise through multiple media resources, and maintain an open and honest dialogue for our members to voice their opinions and be involved in a unified goal. Rules for Posts Targeted Calls to action - These are specific actionable items such as cabinet appointments, proposed laws, or executive orders that we can ask our Members of Congress (MoCs) to come out against. In the comments, post supporting materials such as scripts, contact phone numbers, links to supporting press from reliable news sources. Community Events - These are opportunities for in-person activism, protest, public support, or education. Tools & Resources - Websites, apps, or services which promote the sharing of knowledge and facilitate activism. Encouragement & Victory - When our movement has a victory, we need to hear about it. When a MoC votes the way we asked them to or makes a public statement in support of our position, we need to know. This is a source of inspiration and also a notice that we can move on to the next issue. Please let us know in the comments when you have called and share your personal stories or pictures of visits to MoC’s offices, you may inspire someone else to act.
