This page is for Corvallis/Benton County residents and other nearby locals who want to coordinate their activity to oppose the trump/Republican right-wing agenda. It's crucial that we all loudly affirm to our elected officials--at every level-- that we stand against bigotry, corruption, suppression of civil rights, and policies that damage the environment, education, or the social safety net. And it's equally important that when our politicians show they're on our side by doing the right thing, we flood them with positive feedback to let them know they have our support! Note: constructive dialog and debate is encouraged here, but please respect each other when posting/commenting--no personal attacks/insults toward other members. Venting about the political opposition is fine; disrespecting each other is not. (Admins reserve the right to remove content that violates this, and to remove members for egregious repeat behavior). ALSO PLEASE NOTE: As we get into the 2020 primary, please respect that this is not the place for posts advocating for or against specific Democratic primary (or 3rd party) candidates for President. The resulting debates usually become divisive, and distract from our shared mission of opposing trump. We're here to share information and ideas for COORDINATED, PRACTICAL POLITICAL ACTION against the trump agenda, as outlined in the Indivisible Guide.
