Greenpeace is a people-powered movement fighting for a green and peaceful future for our oceans, forests, food, climate and democracy. Join us today! Greenpeace Jacksonville is for all Northeast Florida residents looking to get involved on a local level. Action needs to be taken, so this group was created out of necessity to organize local activist. Minimalist involvement, such as sending emails/ calling local representatives is perfectly fine. Active involvement would mean participating in peaceful rallies or passing around petitions at local events. This group will also be traveling to events across the state, making the eco justice movement in Florida known! The possibilities of what we can accomplish together are endless! Are you worried about the Sabal Trail Pipeline destroying our fresh water? This is the group for you! Everyone is welcome to join! Local actions posted regularly!
