So we can all enjoy and trust in what we eat and drink, we help people take charge of where their food comes from, keep clean, affordable, public tap water flowing freely to our homes, protect the environmental quality of oceans, force government to do its job protecting citizens, and educate about the importance of keeping the global commons -- our shared resources -- under public control. Food & Water Watch Fort Collins is focused on two very important issues: Ban Fracking Now! Fracking or Hydraulic Fracturing is a dangerous, industrial method of oil and gas extraction that poses substantial health and environmental risks. It's time to Ban Fracking Now! Labeling Genetically Engineered Food: Genetically engineered(GE) foods are unlabeled, largely untested and pervasive throughout our food system. We feel that labeling should be the law and we are pushing for legislation that put our safety and health first.
