Starting today, we begin work on March On The Polls 2018, our comprehensive election battle plan. We have a lot of work to do to retake majorities in statehouses and Congress. We are committed to putting the marchroots at the center of our decisions about which candidates we, as a movement, will support or oppose. There will be different levels of support we can offer, from simple endorsements, to volunteer support coordinated by March On, to expensive advertising campaigns our Fight Back PAC can conduct. We can pick candidates at local, state and national levels. We will use civic engagement technology to help us make these decisions. But first, we’ll debate and dialogue with each other as a community to make our case about candidates that deserve our support—or our opposition. And once we’ve made our decisions, we’ll unite and throw our collective weight behind doing what it takes to win.
