Equality Maine (formerly the Maine Lesbian Gay Political Alliance), is our state's oldest and largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender political advocacy organization. Equality Maine has over 1,000 members from every region of Maine - all committed to making our vision of equality a reality.Equality Maine acts in support of people of diverse orientation and gender identity through education, legislation and collaboration in Maine. We envision a Maine in which all people of diverse orientation and gender identity live in a state where they are safe with their families, welcomed in their community and secure in the workplace, because they have full equality.The organization chose to endorse certain representatives based on information available in that year.Formerly known as Maine Lesbian Gay Political Alliance
