East Harlem Preservation, Inc. (EHP) is a volunteer advocacy organization founded in 2005 to preserve and promote the neighborhood's history and culture.We provide news and updates on large-scale development, displacement and other issues of public concern to residents and stakeholders in East Harlem/El Barrio and surrounding areas. Our website and e-newsletter are also available to help promote the work of local nonprofit cultural, educational, health, economic development, and environmental organizations.EHP also conducts educational walking tours and hosts public forums, film screenings and other events.We invite local writers, artists, community organizers, educators, web and graphic designers, photographers, video editors, and others to lend their talent and materials!
