We are a diverse coalition of D.C. area organizers and residents coming together in solidarity with Standing Rock. We call on D.C. to divest from Wells Fargo and other banks funding the unjust Dakota Access Pipeline, as Seattle, San Francisco, Davis, and other cities have already done. We are connecting the dots between DAPL and injustices right here in D.C., and fighting for change. D.C. must invest not in human rights abuses and environmental destruction, but in the economic and social prospects and self-determination of its own neighborhoods.
