CIRAC advocates for the dignity and fair treatment of immigrants by providing educational resources and a unified voice as a vehicle for collective action. The goals of CIRAC are: - To provide an influential voice to policies and legislative issues as they affect the immigrant communities of our state and our nation. - To coordinate a response group in our community to act on the behalf of our immigrant neighbors when situations arise that require collaborative action. - To educate policy makers and the community about the benefits of fair and humane immigration policies. - To advocate for fair and impartial policies in the areas of health, housing, labor, education and other socio-economic areas which affect the lives of immigrants. CIRAC meets on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm at Lancaster Theological Seminary, Richards Hall, Room 109.
