The Central New York Labor Council has its offices in Utica, 20 miles North of the geographic center of the state. We serve Oneida and Herkimer Counties and the Mohawk Valley area. We are comprised of 63 affiliated public and private sector Locals, including 40 Locals of the New York State United Teachers. Our affiliates have a collective membership of about 17,000. We seek to advance the cause of organized labor through a unified and effective voice in local, state and national issues affecting working men and women, and to support the human development and improved quality of life for our members and for all working people.
