We are a grassroots organization of Progressive voters in Texas's 10th District dedicated to resist Trump and the Republican's agenda. Our group is primarily concern citizens from Washington and Austin county. We base our resistance on using the 'Indivisible Guide' and the 'Women's March on Washington'. We stand together, indivisible- an attack on one is an attack on all. Together we have the power to resist and the power to win. We have created this closed group so that we can organize and talk more privately. This group is to be a safe place with like minded members for open discussions. We ask you to not share member's comments or post without permission. WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER OUR ISSUES > We oppose any and every issue that threatens our freedom. > We are for justice and equality for all regardless of religion, race, gender or sexual orientation. >We believe that health care is a right and all Americans deserve affordable healthcare. > We believe that Medicaid needs to stay intact. (Senior citizens, low income children and the disabled depend on it. (They have a right to live their life with dignity). > We are against privatizing Social Security and Medicare. > We believe in quality public education and are against privatizing education. > We believe in Science and that Climate Change is real. CALL TO ACTION We will target our Members of Congress at the local level. > Attend town hall meetings, (that is if McCaul, Cruz and Cornyn will ever hold one). > Attend public events our Members of Congress are attending. > Visit our Members of Congress offices. > Become acquainted with their staffers. > Mass callings to Members of Congress Offices. > Mail letters > If possible, attend protest marches, rallies and sit-ins.
