Draper 353 (Baylor Univeristy)
Waco, Texas

Meetings are Wednesdays at 7pm in Draper 353. Sic'em Bears, Sic'em Democrats! Proudly tracing its lineage all the way back to 1828, The Democratic Party endures today not only as the world's oldest existing political party, but as the most prominent American stronghold of peace, justice, security, equality and liberty. A century and a half after the foundation of what was to become the party of such U.S. Presidents as Andrew Jackson, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, the Democratic Party established its roots at Baylor University, where the Baylor Democrats formed in 1978. Since then, the Baylor Democrats have exultantly served the Waco community, the State of Texas, and the United States of America for almost forty years. The Baylor Democrats now remain as passionate and restless in our calling as our forefathers were who once did so before us. May our heads stay strong, our hearts remain clear, and our mission endure not only for ourselves, but for our posterity. Baylor Democrats is a student organization that strives to educate students in political affairs from a local to national perspective.
