Baltimorians gathering to resist, advance a bold, progressive agenda & hold elected leaders accountable. Formerly known as Resist Trump Tuesdays. Baltimore #ResistTrumpTuesdays is the local incarnation of a national movement launched for the first 100 days of Trump’s administration to resist and advance a bold, progressive agenda.We are a grassroots network of Marylanders who are committed to gather on Tuesdays and engage in actions directed towards demanding accountability from our elected leaders around equity, justice, and people over profits. We are a community network of organizers, teachers, activists, immigrants, lawyers, doctors, students, artists, entrepreneurs, faith leaders, and family members from the Baltimore region who demand accountability from our elected leaders! Through volunteer-driven efforts, we pledge to sustain a consistent local presence around our city, state and federal elected leaders, demonstrating that we are watching and holding them accountable to their actions (or too often, inaction) We Marylanders who are committed to equity and justice are also committed to building a sustainable resistance movement, working collaboratively to strengthen and protect our community in the face of discrimination, harassment and division. When do we meet: Every other Tuesday for the duration of the Trump administration. When/Where: Every Tuesday at noon in different Baltimore locations, but mainly in front of Senator Ben Cardin’s office. It is our intention to develop actions at different times and locations across Baltimore to increase accessibility and inclusiveness.
