OUR GOAL IS TO TURN ARIZONA BLUE BY 2020.We will share strategies, tactics and actively engage in political actions to turn Arizona into a blue state by 2020. We will take action to promote freedom, liberty and equal opportunity for all. Who We Are: AZ Blue 2020 is a grassroots Political Committee working to empower and engage Arizona citizens in the political process. We are an independent organization of energized volunteers who want to make a difference. Our goal is to elect Democrats at every level to create a Democratic governance in Arizona by 2020. This will ensure that our progressive views and platform are better represented by our elected officials. Turning Arizona blue is a multifaceted task. Our role in this mission is to empower and prepare the grassroots members of the Democratic Party, the Precinct committeepersons. PCs are the boots on the ground working as the eyes, ears and voices for everyday Democrats. They are the key to empowering Arizona citizens and getting them to the polls. Arizona has an alarming deficit of Democratic PCs. AZ Blue is filling those slots through community outreach and education. But simply having PCs isn’t good enough. For them to succeed they must be adequately trained, supported and be armed with the necessary resources. That is where our work really has an important impact. We not only work to recruit PCs through outreach, but we also develop training materials, resources and support platforms to properly equip them for the job. Group Guidelines: - PC related posts are encouraged! Share your experiences, struggles, ask questions, give LD meeting updates, and connect with other PCs around you to work together! - News and articles should cover local interests and need to include a call to action or how to work towards a solution. - Know your source! Before sharing something, check the source and make sure it’s a reputable outlet. The Left has “fake news” too. - No “venting” or “complaining”. Save those gems for your personal page. - National news, particularly related to The President and things taking place at the White House should be shared elsewhere. - Be nice. Debate and discussion are encouraged, but keep things clean and civil.
