On her 1/4/17 program, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow hosted a former congressional aide for progressive Democrat Lloyd Doggett, who outlined the guide he and other former staffers put together in order to oppose the reactionary Republican agenda in Congress. Thus was born a movement! Following the example of other groups and individuals--many of whom have added a personal photo that features an electrical resistor, this page features that which stands in the way of a powerful force--and RESISTS it. We too can stand in the way of a powerful force, and no matter how small we are, how insignificant we might seem, we nevertheless can RESIST.
