As Deputy Program Directory for Action Group Network, Nina is putting her passions for ethnographic research, organizational design, and religious movements to the test by lending support to solving problems in the progressive movement landscape. This is Nina's second year doing domestic organizing work. Nina is a recent graduate of Marymount Manhattan College where she studied Business and Philosophy and Religious Studies, pursuing concentrations in Eastern Religious Traditions and doing ethnographic research on the Hindu community in Flushing, Queens. Two of Nina's highlights from the past year include serving on the organizing team for the March from Charlottesville to D.C., and helping to organize the New York City Tax March. Nina's interdisciplinary approach and care for local leaders shines through in the support she provides ActLocal.
