Meet local event hosts, Kyoko Takayama, Marilyn Lucey, and Martha Kreeger:
Kyoko Takayama is Organizing for Action East Bay Central Chapter's Co-lead. She is a permanent resident who has been organizing mostly as a volunteer for US since 2010. She is a 2012 OFA alumni.
Grassroots Organizer and East Bay Central Chapter Co-Lead for Organizing For Action, Martha has been working in resistance, mayhem and on targeted effective actions since coming out for Fight4OurHealth's first day of action in SF on January 15, 2017. Coming from the world of educational non-profits working with young leaders, Martha trains and supports new activists, magnifying voices that are often overlooked in traditional grassroots organizations. Her experience includes electoral political campaigns and staging location director, Issues Organizing, Coalitions and presenting How to Build Sustainable Organizations at Rock The Congress, but her joy is in empowering progressive leaders to create real change whether those leaders are found in a high school or in grassroots movements!
