Elevated Chicago launched in 2017 to present collaborative, community-led solutions to neighborhood displacement and inequities using an underutilized asset: our public transit system. Historically, trains have connected people to places; we believe transit can also can connect people to ideas, innovations and capital, both within and outside of their communities.
We are a diverse group of Americans who advocate to protect our liberal, tolerant values, and to help the middle and working class. Our main goals are to fight back against media complacency, especially in their false equivalency and failure to report Trump's scandals and to contact our elected representatives and encourage them to respect the centuries-old democratic values of America.
In 2012, The Rules (TR) started out asking why mass poverty still exists on a world of such plenty. In looking for the answers, we have grown into a global collective of activists, writers, artists, researchers, coders and others who work to expose the root causes of our current crisis.
Seattle for Everyone is a broad coalition of affordable housing developers and advocates, for-profit developers and businesses, labor and social justice advocates, environmentalists and urbanists, all united to build an equitable, prosperous, thriving, and inclusive Seattle by ensuring that the benefits of the city’s growth are shared by all current and future residents – from those struggling with homelessness to wage-earners and families.
